10 Ways to Have an Amazing Relationship with Yourself


 Social media dictates us that we need to be someone who are not in order to be acceptable by the society. It makes us feel that we are not good enough. We are all dependent to the internet and we spend too much time on social sites such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Unless we can completely get rid of the cyber world, we are stuck to the definition of beauty and perfection that the social media conveyed to us. This belief hinders us to have a loving relationship with ourselves. So, what can you do to change it?

  1. Understand what a loving relationship with yourself is.

Do you know what it means to have a loving relationship with yourself? A loving relationship means fully accepting yourself and being grateful for who you are. If you dislike yourself, then there is no way you can have an amazing relationship with yourself. You need to accept yourself before anything else.

  1. Go out alone. 

You need time alone for yourself once in a while. You can dine out, go to a park, or watch a movie. Whatever you decide to do, make sure you feel oneness with the world around you. Though it’s quite scary to be alone, but this is a good start to make you love yourself more.

  1. If there is one thing that you’ve been wanting to do, do it now.

If you are passionate about something, now is the time to do it. Make time for your hobby. Learning something new boosts your self-confidence and will make you more likable.

  1. Be happy. Smile and laugh a lot.

Do the things that make you happy. Spend time with your friends and laugh a lot. It’s true that laughter is the best medicine for it improves your metabolism and lets your brain produce happy hormones that lift your mood. If you are always happy, people will be drawn to you more.

Exercise allows your body to produce more endorphins that keep you happy and empowered. Jogging for at least twice a week is enough to keep you physically and mentally fit.
